How you find out
A banner appears in the app when your message balance falls low, and again at zero. It links straight to billing. Escalations to your personal WhatsApp keep working, so a buyer waiting on an answer still reaches you.
How to fix it
Buy a top-up pack for an immediate refill, or move to a plan with a larger monthly allowance. Both take effect as soon as the payment clears and neither requires reconnecting WhatsApp.
